We hiked about 30 minutes to this hidden gem of a field in Kelowna — overlooking Black Mountain, the lake, and layers of hillside. The wind was wild the whole time, but these two embraced it fully. Running, laughing, hair whipping in the air. It added to the session so beautifully.
These two met during their first year of university — clicked fast, said their I love yous two months in, and never really left each other’s side. Now they spend their weekends exploring Kelowna’s walking trails and bird sanctuaries, browsing the farmers market, and hanging out with their cat names Jalapeño!
The shoot had a film-inspired feel, and they even brought a roll of expired 1990s film for me to shoot — something they’ll develop together later. I love when couples bring a bit of themselves into the session 🙂
If you’re looking for a Kelowna engagement photographer who’s down to hike for a view and capture something that feels natural and real, message me 🙂 Kelowna has so many underrated photo locations, and this evening was proof of that.
